From the desk of Fred Robinson, President and Founder
After a 25 year career in computer consulting for diverse organizations such as banks, newspaper publishers, computer manufacturers, finance companies, and online shopping networks, I founded In-Home Advanced Technologies (I-Hat) on March 1, 2002 in Narberth, Pennsylvania. For over 15 years, my team and I have helped both homeowners and small businesses with computing needs. I pride myself on the quality of service that we offer, and as a result we have had countless satisfied customers.
In 2011, we relocated and re-branded I-Hat as Waterdog Computer Works. We continue to offer the same professional service in-home, on site, or in our storefront location on North Wayne Avenue in the charming retail and restaurant community of downtown Wayne, PA.
As our business has grown, so has our breadth of products and services. With additional technologies such as online backup, managed services and disaster recovery, our client base has begun to shift to more small and medium size businesses. While we still provide the same in-home and remote services for our valued residential customers, we now offer those same services, as well as proactive strategies, for our commercial clients.
Named as a tribute to my dog “Joey,” Waterdog Computer Works embodies the nobility and work ethic of the Portuguese Waterdog, a working dog originally bred to retrieve lost tackle and broken nets and act as a courier from ship to shore. With “Joey” as our mascot, we will be faithfully ‘swimming out’ to you and resolving your computer needs!
